Leading with Transparency: Insights from Our July 2025 Team Effectiveness Intensive
Hi everyone! My name is Jourdan, and I am the new hire at Elevate Labs! I was tasked to interview participants from our July Team Effectiveness Intensive. Overall, the conversations were exciting and enlightening. Thank you everyone who participated! Here are some insights and changes that we were able to highlight from these conversations:
Some of our most impactful concepts have been
The Coaching approach, encouraging team members to find their unique approach by offering support to achieve the what without giving away the how
Delegation, allowing your team to solve issues independently without direct oversight
Psychological safety, creating a working environment where team members can take risks and speak out without fear of shame
Shifting from passive to transparent leadership, building trust as a leader by honestly sharing decision-making processes
Here are some things we’ve learned from our most recent Team Effectiveness Intensive.
We are updating our points system to better reflect our learning outcomes and to make sure that you can make it to completion.
We are reworking our Leadership Circles to better curate group dynamics and participation between industries.
We are reorganizing our NovoEd dashboards for learners to navigate more intuitively.
We are reviewing language from our asynchronous modules to be more specific and conducive to conversation.
Some takeaways that our learners walked away with:
Implement delegation to let your teams solve issues independently.
Apply prioritization and a coaching approach in small approaches.
Build participation, buy-in, and team collaboration.
This course has been recommended to both new and experienced managers. It is equally useful to traditional vertical management roles and “cat-wranglers” alike!
We look forward to seeing you at our next Grounded Leadership session on Friday, September 26, 2025.
